#CHAOS CONTROL TIME STOP FULL#
Tales of Phantasia (PSX / iOS) + Full Voice Edition + Cross Edition - Mint Adenade, Dhaos (Time Stop). Cress and Mint hold hands, looking at each other as the dimension shatters back to the green plain from before. The orb turns into a laser that envelops the enemy in an evergrowing ball of light that covers the entire area. Cress Albane appears and holds out his left hand at the orb as the latter quickly grows bigger. The background immediately turns into a starry-night sky as Mint charges her staff, forming an orb of blue out of the tip. The area turns into a field of green grass with a boulder in the background as Mint performs the arte immediately, with the astral image of a clock appearing behind her, the hands quickly spinning until they hit one o'clock. In the collaboration event with Star Ocean: Anamnesis, this is Mint's Rush Combo attack. In Tales of Crestoria, using Time Stop inflicts the status ailment of the same name on all enemies for 1 turn that stops them from taking any action while extending ailment effects and Break status. The space-rupturing slash and the eruption references to Eternal Divide, one of Mithos' mirrage artes. Within the stopped time, Yggdrasill charges up an energy attack that, once time restarts, erupts into a miniature star. He summons the Eternal Sword, which spins around like a clock hand, before he performs a slash that freezes time and ruptures space. The second is a mirrage arte used by Yggdrasill. While it does not inflict a unique status effect, it leaves the affected targets staggered for an extended period of time, emulating the original Stop effect. The first is an offensive spell used by Nebilim that deals damage to the entire battlefield. In Tales of the Rays, it has two variations. While time is stopped, the other members of the Heroes of Eternity come in and attack the targeted enemy, before a final explosion occurs as time ends. In Tales of Link, it is Mint's mystic arte and capable of damage. In Tales of Xillia 2, Mint uses this arte in the arena cameo ending, alongside her fellow cameo characters' mystic artes. Mint's version is changed to explicitly be a mystic arte and have a cut-in in the Nintendo 3DS version, but Nebilim's remains the same. Nebilim's version of this arte is also preceded by the same phrase, but it lacks a cut-in in all versions. In Tales of the Abyss, when Mint uses this arte, it is preceded by the phrase Fonic Arte ( 譜術, Fujutsu ?) and, in the North American version only, her facial cut-in. This arte tends to be ineffective against certain bosses such as Dhaos, the Wyvern, and Pluto in the game. It does, however, exist in the form of a rare item, "Hourglass". Although it is a useful spell if used well, it is more often used by enemies as a high-level arte. In later games, when this arte is used, a large clock appears on the screen, and its hands circle one or two times before stopping, resulting in the enemies on the battlefield freezing. When this arte is used, all enemies turn gray and become unable to move. This arte was first introduced in the PlayStation release of Tales of Phantasia, in which Mint learns it by reaching level 53. Time Stop as it appears in Tales of the Abyss.
